Stocking stuffers or small gifts for women, including mom, sister, grandmother, and daughter to put into the beautiful white stockings hanging from a mantle adorned with pink roses and greenery. A fire is lit in the fireplace with a candle nearby and cart with festive beverages.

So you think that you’ve finished all of your shopping, then it hits you:

what are you going to put in the stockings?

You know the family is going to be up before the crack of dawn, expecting to see piles of nicely wrapped presents and stockings crammed full of so much Christmas goodness that it’s barely hanging onto that peg over on the mantle.

Or maybe you’re still looking for a small gift to give your sister, or neighbor, or coworker, and time is ticking.  You can’t show up to the event shockingly empty-handed, mumble a meek:

“Sorry, I forgot,”

and leave the poor recipient sitting there, no wrapping paper ripped to shreds on her lap and a tight, phony, “that’s okay,” on her lips.

We’ve all been there.  It’s Christmas and sometimes it’s needlessly awkward and challenging to find a little something cute, or unique, to give as a gift.  I hear you.

Look no further!

That’s why I’ve put together this list of wonderful stuff.  They’re small enough to be shoved inside of your lovely festive stockings, or given as gifts themselves, depending on the situation.

Although I love a beautifully wrapped present as much as the next person, stocking stuffers, to me, are special (besides being an excellent way to get out of wrapping yet another gift, which is great itself).

Stocking stuffers are a great way to get or give a little extra treat, something you might not otherwise buy yourself or give someone.  It can be a way to try a new perfume or pricey face cream.  You can try a weird version of something normal, like coffee syrup or bacon beer, and have a laugh about it.  Or find a new favorite.

So let’s get started, shall we?

Stocking Stuffers for Her

  1. Wonderfully Wearable Nude Lipstick: Lipstick is a wonderful option as a stocking stuffer. It’s small, and you can have more than one! This is a set of 4 full-sized lippies by Edward Bess that found themselves on Oprah’s list of favorite things this year. Wear one or mix for a perfect nude pout.

  2. Cheers: These bad boys cure hangovers. Wait, here me out! If you’re a lightweight (I’m raising my hand), at drink 1.5, you know you might be in trouble. But it’s the season of celebration, so you’re definitely in trouble. Take these after an evening of merriment, and you’ll feel much better the next morning. I can personally attest to their efficacy. They work wonders.

  3. Reuseable cotton rounds: If you’re like me, you go through an obscene number of cotton rounds. I’m ordering these. Send less waste to the landfills! This multiple-use set of 16 rounds is made of bamboo. They come with a laundry bag and are machine washable. They save something like 10K disposable cotton balls! Amazing!

  4. PopSocket: These fun little additions attach to your smartphone to act as either a grip or a stand. You can find them in a number of prints, including this hilarious giraffe blowing a bubble with its gum. So freakin’ cute.

  5. Patchology All is Bright Holiday Kit: An eye gel and mask set to brighten and illuminate your face and eye area, your first step in getting party ready!

  6. Earrings: Janis Savitt designed these simple hoops, another of Oprah’s favorite things. These hoops come in 3 sizes and 3 colors: gold-plated brass, rhodium-plated brass, and rose gold-plated brass.

  7. Desktop vacuum: Here’s yet another adorable little trinket that vacuums up all the crumbs from your afternoon snack (so good, yet so messy, right?).

  8. Cozy socks: The cozy socks from Nordstrom aren’t called Butter Socks for nothing. OMG. I’m wearing them as I write this. Get more than one pair—they’re like Lay’s Potato Chips.

  9. Portable power: This awesome power pack is extra light and charges fast as lightening. So you don’t have to worry about forgetting to charge your phone.

  10. Ring holder: These little objects are uber-cute and so useful. They don’t take up much counter space at all and politely hold onto your treasures while you wash your hands (or sleep, etc.), so you know exactly where it is after you realize you were on autopilot.

  11. Mini perfume travel spray: A travel spray is a perfect way to give a fragrance a test run, or to sample an expensive perfume. This one is Mon Paris, a warm floral scent by Yves Saint Laurent and comes with a cute with a bow tied around it.
  12. Screen cleaner: Fingerprints, smudges, and dust are instantly gone from your screen with a few rolls of this iRoller. Bonus points for being liquid-free and not needing a separate cloth for cleaning!

  16. Reusable straws: Forget plastic! This is a natural, reusable alternative. It comes with a cleaning brush.

  17. Affirmators!: This is for those that appreciate a touch of humor with their therapy. This is a deck of 50 affirmation cards that are “inspirational-but-not-cheesy.” You’re sure to have a laugh as well as a boost in self-confidence.

  18. Invisibobble: A good way to keep your hair out of your face during your intense run or spin class, and maintain the health of your tresses. These keep your hair in place without the nasty breakage of rubber bands.

  19. Deep Sleep Pillow Spray: This spray from ThisWorks is a wonderful product that when sprayed on your pillow, helps you get to sleep naturally, with a mix of essential oils. So it’s amazing for anyone, even pregnant women! Since I found this, I haven’t been without it. Insomnia, be gone!

  20. Mini candles: With this set, you’ll get 3 mini tin candles made of pure coconut wax, a natural wick, and essential oils. The scents are Prosecco Bellini, Saijo Persimmon, and Macaron.

  21. Magnetic phone mount: Now with more cities becoming hands-free, having a reliable way to keep your phone within site for GPS use (or to keep it from ending up in that space between your seat and the console…ugh!), these are a great option. A pack of 2 means you can keep one and gift one. A powerful magnet keeps your phone in place, but the mount allows rotation of the phone.
